A unique group of singers and players of instruments with members representing Ethiopia, the Virgin Islands and the Pacific Northwest region of Washington state. Their music consists of a blend of calypso, dancehall, and roots reggae fused in a uniquely modern northwest style. Whether a cover tune or original material, their music is designed to make folks dance and have a good time. Originally known as Cannon and the Lion of Judah, led by founder, composer, and bassist Cannon, Lion of Judah Band now consists of several original members and additional talent recruited from Sanctuary City Reggae Band.
