The Seattle Iranian Choir is a program of the Alefba Group, a nonprofit organization committed to celebrating Iranian and Persian culture while supporting the community through meaningful social initiatives. The choir is a community-based ensemble made up of members of the Iranian-American community in the Seattle area, with a mission to preserve and share the rich heritage of Iranian music. Since its debut at the 2015 Nowruz Festival, the choir has performed at a wide range of cultural events and festivals, including Nowruz, Mehregan, and Yalda celebrations, Seattle Iranian festivals, the Northwest Folklife Festival, and multicultural events at the University of Washington.
