Eugenie Jones is an award-winning American jazz singer and songwriter with a dedicated international fan base. Critics describe her as a warm, engaging entertainer with an electric stage presence and a “smoke & satin” vocal style. Since she burst on the jazz scene in 2013, the award-winning, Seattle-based vocalist, composer, producer, and legacy activist has been one of our time’s most powerful, driven, and evocative artists.

Over her 12-year career, Jones has released six highly acclaimed albums and published 32 original songs. Jones is a two-time winner of the Earshot Jazz Vocalist of the Year award, aninductee into the Seattle Jazz Hall of Fame, and the first vocalist to receive the Earshot Jazz Album of the Year Award.

Her 2025 album, **Eugenie**, charted for 15 weeks on Jazz Week’s Top 50 International Chart, peaking at #4 and receiving praise from multiple critics from New York City to Paris, France.

Jones is also the founder of Music for A Cause. This nonprofit organization presents live music events celebrating the Seattle Central District’s African American music legacy while raising funds for local community service nonprofits, such as the Boys & Girls Club and the Northwest Food Bank. Her work, combining jazz with community service, earned her the International Jazz Journalist Association’s Jazz Hero Award.

NEA Jazz Master Reggie Workman, a legendary bassist and former member of John Coltrane’s Quartet, describes Jones as “an extraordinary singer, songwriter, and a source of light we are fortunate to experience.
